Description
The Rosemount Wireless ET210 delivers continuous, non-intrusive pipe wall thickness monitoring for industrial assets prone to internal corrosion and particulate erosion. By capturing acoustic wave reflections directly through painted metal surfaces, it provides plant engineers with precise metal loss telemetry without cutting pipes or applying liquid couplants. TPT24 supplies genuine Emerson integrity hardware with factory calibration certificates and prompt international shipping.
Non-Invasive Thickness Tracking with Rosemount Wireless ET210
Internal chemical attack and abrasive sand slurry can quickly compromise structural containment. The Rosemount Wireless ET210 utilizes advanced Electro-Magnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT) technology and integrated thermocouple compensation to track metal loss rates down to a single micrometer. Because installation is strictly external, plant operators avoid hot-work permits, scaffold installations, and costly planned outages.
Versatile Installation Across Carbon and Duplex Steels
Deployable on pipe diameters from NPS 2 upward and wall thicknesses up to 50 mm, the transmitter secures easily via magnetic mounts or high-grade banding straps. It measures accurately through intact paint layers up to 1 mm thick and maintains stable continuous operation across service temperatures reaching 120 °C (248 °F). This makes it the ideal baseline sensor for extensive piping manifolds and gathering lines.
WirelessHART Architecture and Extended Battery Autonomy
Operating on self-healing IEC 62591 WirelessHART networks, the device transmits raw acoustic data and wall thickness trends with >99% data reliability. Powered by the field-replaceable BP20E power module, the Rosemount Wireless ET210 operates up to nine years under standard reporting schedules. Operators can seamlessly stream asset data into Emerson Plantweb Insight or existing control systems to make proactive maintenance decisions.
